Myriad’s VP of Business Development, Olivier Bartholot, also talked about Alien Dalvik version 2.0 – the new version of the app runs in the cloud instead of doing all the processing on the device itself like the previous version of Alien Dalvik did. However, it’s always interesting to see cross platform computing taking place. I highly doubt we’ll be seeing this on the Apple App Store, (and it’s not like iOS users need Android apps in the first place – iOS has a much larger selection of apps to choose from).
Well recently the folks over at Engadget managed to get a hands on preview with Alien Dalvik version 2.0, and this time it’s bringing Android apps to iOS devices. Myriad announced Alien Dalvik quite awhile ago – an app that lets you run Android apps on non-Android devices, but it’s been awhile since we’ve heard anything about it.
